Moving Towards a German Professorship at a University of Applied Sciences

This online workshop, hosted by the German Academic International Network (GAIN) is designed for international and German doctoral candidates and postdocs interested in pursuing a full professorship at a German University of Applied Sciences. It will explore the qualifications needed, including academic credentials and relevant non-university work experience, and highlight pathways, visa-related support structures, and opportunities especially in STEM and applied social sciences. The session features insights from senior UAS leaders and government representatives and is part of the GAIN Momentum series aimed at supporting internationally mobile researchers.
