Paderborn University is inviting applications for a Full Professorship (W3) in Software Engineering. As the former headquarters of the Heinz Nixdorf computer company and home to a strong research community, Paderborn is one of Germany’s leading locations for Software Engineering. The new professorship will further expand the university’s established strengths in Secure Software Engineering, Empirical Software Engineering, and Software Resilience.
Applicants should bring a research profile that complements existing areas, including (but not limited to):
- Software design and construction
- Software configuration management
- Software quality and testing
- Programming languages and compilers
The Computer Science department also features key focus areas such as domain-specific computing, quantum computing, data science, and IT security. More information about the department:
